Sunday Message: Forever Young

I lWhen Isaiah spoke these words the people of God had been in exile in Babylon for many years. They could easily have given up hope but the prophet heard the deeper, clearer voice of God that declared that God was not finished with His people. Through their father Abraham they had been blessed by God in order that God might bless the world. The best of being God’s people was yet to come. On Sunday I will share more of the St. Paul’s story (from my notes below) and talk about some ways I think we can build resilience into our church communities as we seek to be used by God for the good of our neighborhood and world! We will use a quote from G.K. Chesterton, our Isaiah passage, and a Song by Bob Dylan to inspire us to carry on God’s Good and Inspiring Work in our communities today.
